I’ve recently been helping a teacher friend select books with heroic female protagonists and that has made me realize how few there are! Every notice that the only black princess took place in darkness 90% of the time. While the other princesses were in light. That the black princess was a domestic, while the others were actual princesses one good was that she did have a mom! I hate what has been done to my little pony. There is nothing equine about them anymore. They have infant heads on horse bodies. It is creepy.
